Happy Paws is a licensed, insured, and bonded pet sitter serving primarily South Austin neighborhoods caring for four-legged friends, fish, and reptiles. Happy Paws offers a variety of pet and home sitting services. Owner, Roxanne Winslow, is a PetTech CPR/First Aid instructor, and Fear Free Certified.
When your pup(s) stay with Happy Paws in Roxanne's home, they can spend lots of time in her yard and indoor play area, enjoy walks around the neighborhood, or take walks in one of the many dog-friendly areas Austin has to offer. Adjustments will be made to fit the individual needs of guests. Custom quotes are available for those that may need longer walks or extra socialization.
Roxanne has over 18 years of experience caring for all kinds of pets. She grew up on the Eastern Plains of Colorado with dogs, cats, salamanders, and toads and has been caring for her own pets since she was a little girl. Roxanne discovered the joy of having her own dog when she was seven years old, adopting a tri-colored cocker spaniel named Shelby. Roxanne now lives in South Austin and shares her life with Lillie (pictured above), a black lab who just turned 14 and picked Roxanne as her mama when she was only days old.
Happy Paws has cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, ball pythons, rats, fish, chickens, goats, sheep, and horses. With the right instructions, we are willing and comfortable caring for a variety of animals, including farm animals, reptiles, and exotics.
